Greenville, S.C. is set to benefit from new federal funding for two affordable housing projects. The Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) will support the development of a 93-unit apartment for seniors near Unity Park, allowing them to pay only 30% of their income in rent. Additionally, The Alliance, a mixed-use building on Laurens Road, will provide 100 units for those earning less than $50,000 annually. The Greenville Summit will also receive credits to preserve 101 units and plans to expand by adding 50 more.
